I love this hat. This is a thick quality material, the edges hold their shape well and is a nice deep/rich color with just the right amount of fading. The only issue I have with the hat is that I have a large head and holding the adjustment strap is not very effective at keeping the hat taut. The hat is a bit big on my head, which usually doesn't bother me because it's relatively comfortable by nature. I've been wearing this hat almost every day since I got it and it's just "a little big" in the sense that I can fit a couple of fingers between it and my head (see pic 1). At that size, it blows my mind. with average wind. When I tighten the strap (when it's windy outside) to keep it from tearing, it stays taut for a while but slowly slips back out before releasing within a few minutes. There is a small slot/pocket that an extra "tail" of the strap fits in (see pic 2) so that's good as the strap doesn't dangle or dangle. But even if it is put in this slot, the band will slip back and become loose. A workaround for this (when I absolutely need to keep the strap taut) is to slip the strap over the buckle and fold it in half (see fig 3). It's not ideal as it's a little bulky and looks a little clunky. Even when the wind blows fast, I want to be able just reaching back and tugging and knowing it will hold. Anyway, I need to stop what I'm doing, take off my hat, tighten it, double the strap backwards, and then get on with what I'm doing. Again not perfect but it works and keeps the hat with the pull I want when I need it. I will stress that this buckle is not a deal breaker and if I ever lose or damage this one I will most likely order the exact same one again. I have a hard time finding good hats that fit me, look the way I want and don't cost too much. At this price point, this hat ticks all of my must-have requirements and I would happily recommend it.
