I am 5'8 and 290lbs I am short waist which means most things are long on me. This jacket however is strangely short on me. The lady in the picture has her jacket meeting just above the widest part of her hips. I assumed it would do something similar or be long on me because of my short waisted ness. This dirndl is spectacular. Fully lined, the embroidery is beautiful, the color is a lovely rich hue, and the fit is perfect. Yes it's snug in the bodice, just as it should be. Sit up straight and all is well. It also has the customary pocket which was a wonderful surprise. This Is the shorter version which makes it fun but trunks are a good idea. This gate is very nice. It is really heavy though. We solved this by opening up the package and taking a few pieces at a time to the back yard the directions aren’t the best. The case seems to be sturdy enough for organizing and storing batteries. I like that there are individual spots for each battery in the foam. There are enough spots in the AA & AAA sections to hold a large package of each type of battery. The tester came in handy as I had a drawer full of loose batteries to test that all fell out of their packaging. Love this dress! It is loose fitting, but should be for the design. I bought a large based on comments about tight fit in the bust. I probably could have worn a medium.
