All rocks were in good condition. No rocks arrived broken. They had a lot of dust/dirt on them so I just washed them with dawn dish soap and laid them out to dry. These rocks turn dark when you weather proof them so after realizing that I started using a light colored primer. All and all I would definitely buy these again. I cant get smooth rock like this around my small town so I was excited to purchase these!

I purchased the painting rocks to offer an interactive resource table at a community event last summer and they were a complete hit. The size was perfect and looked amazing. I felt silly buying rocks when you can find them outside but these are the perfect shape, color, and texture for painting! Ive already come back for more.

Most rocks are 1.5 inch to 2 inch in size. I ordered 6 bags at 14.98 per bag so I spent nearly $100 for rocks. Out of each bag, I had 3-4 rocks that I was able to use for my project so these rocks were expensive! The rest of the rocks were too small to do any art on them. I do need more rocks so I am looking for another vendor.

These rocks are perfect for painting. They are smooth and provide a great surface. I did rinse mine off before I painted them in case there was any dust. They vary in size, but most of them were larger and flat. I would definitely repurchase.

My brothers and I are surprising my mom with a family rock paint day for her rock garden for Mother’s Day. These are perfect. There were severally shapes and sizes - so if you are wanting them to be uniform they won’t be. They come coated in powder so you have to wash them if you are planning on painting them.

I received the bag of rocks today to give as a give for someone to paint. The bag was opened already in the ebay box and the rocks were very dusty and all over the place. I only received 9 rocks, although there was supposed to be 12. I washed the rocks to put them in a new bag and give them in a clean manner, but I do wish there had been 12 rocks like stated in the description, as that was a selling point for me. I ordered these rocks for rock painting. I was happy with the product except that two of the rocks were split in half due to shipment of product. Kinda bummed but I guess I understand.

These were great rocks. 12 for $20. I received 11 but one was broken in half so 10 rocks for $20 for me. Nice, big, and smooth. At first I thought they were slimy (had weird coating) but I washed them and they seemed ok after that. A little misshapen, but not too bad. The ones pictured are the best. I didn’t put a coating or glaze over these painted rocks yet. I would try other rocks but I’d also buy these again.

Rarely write reviews, but since it's hard to know if rocks you order online will be as advertised, had to give this feedback. All the rocks are perfect for rock painting, with interesting shapes. Very pleased, and would definitely order again.

lol I cannot find the roundy rocks like that to paint on anymore as I picked up all I could in my yard so had to buy them which is totally crazy.but I do love them. perfect for what I am using them for which is rock painting with messages of .good.to be put in the park for the little kids.

Each rock is mostly uniformly flat. I used these to place under my potted plants for drainage and they work great and still look well. Thanks

These were very easy rocks to work with, even with the imperfections. They are a nice size for painting, giving you space for some details.
