Battery life sucks on computers and tablets

Battery lasts about 15 minutes, after which it's dead. I contact the seller and he will poke you in the hole next to the power button with a needle to reset it and charge it for 6 hours. Well I've done all that and it's still the same. BIG WASTE OF MONEY!
