I've seen these gel pens rated as one of the best brands of cheap gel pens and I have to agree. Colors are bold, hues are plentiful and almost all are distinctly different and write smoothly. Even the pastel colors in this set write fluently. Pastels always seem to be the pens missing the most from gel pen sets, but I haven't found that with these Tanmit pens. Metallics glitter and you can see the glitter with glitter pens. I like fluorescent colors, they are bright. I even found the white pen in this set to be one of the best I have. I used it to scratch the black area of the printout and it came out nicely. I couldn't care less about the swivel handles. I find them useless and throw them out of every set they come in. I would pay the same amount for 94 pens and ditch the swirl pens, or pay more for six additional solid colors. This is just my personal opinion as I have never maintained or used gel pens. The handles feel sturdy and the caps snap tightly to prevent drying out. The tab on two covers came loose, but I was able to reattach them. The packaging is cheap and flimsy, but I still transfer my pens to another storage method. Arrived safely, nothing broken or damaged. I use these pens for adult coloring books. So far they write and color smoothly and I'm happy with their durability and fluidity. I will buy this set again and definitely agree that this is one of the best sets you can get without spending a lot of money.
