My child picked this out for himself because he liked the bold, over-the-top look. It's as bold as she'd hoped, very bright and three-dimensional. She is petite she just turned 9 and a size 9-10 fits long and baggy which is what she wanted. The only surprise for me was that the fabric is smooth and shiny, like yoga pants or a wetsuit, and not soft and woven cotton or jersey like you might think for a sweatshirt. It's ok, my kid is happy with it, just wanted to let others know!
