Review on ๐Ÿฑ SEO-friendly Cat Recovery Suit for Abdominal Wounds, Professional Surgical Recovery Suit for Cats After Surgery, Soft Spay Recovery Suit to Prevent Wound Licking in Small Medium Large Cats by Jenna Hernandez

Revainrating 1 out of 5

Unsafe, dangerous and the material is synthetic.

This is a highly unsafe survival suit. After it was attached to our kitten, she managed to pull her neck around her stomach where it would have caused terrible pain and damage to her new incision from the castration had she not done so a few minutes after I removed the suit had attracted. . I literally had to cut it out of my suit to protect the cut on my stomach. The neckline is a sweater. Therefore, if the kitten has pulled a choke around the waist, then there is no other way to take it off. It was a complete disaster. If that's not enough drama this costume created; it's also a synthetic material that doesn't even breathe. It must be an organic material such as cotton so that it can be safely applied to a stitched wound. This alone can lead to excess moisture at the cut site and infection of the cut. I can't believe anyone would rate this costume more than one star. I would give zero stars if that was an option. A totally reckless auit that could result in your kitten having to be taken to the veterinary emergency room if the wound becomes infected or ruptures if your cst is similar to ours and the narrowing opening of the neck pulls through its midsection where the incision is located open. and squeezed tightly through an opening too small for the throat, big enough only for the throat and not for the stomach.

Pros
  • POST-OPERATION PROTECTION - The cat surgery recovery suit protects the perineum from being licked, bitten and chewed by other pets. It is excellent for post-surgery recovery and prevention of skin problems, calms the cat and relieves stress, anxiety, calms and warms up. Besides, it can prevent hot spots and skin problems and keep kittens in a good weaning habit. This can prevent the deterioration caused by the cat licking the wound.
Cons
  • Long Wait
