There is no screwdriver, which means that AF lenses will have to be twisted by hand. AF-S are expensive. Setting the viewfinder to minus is rather weak, it was not enough for me with a vision of -2.0, I will have to buy a corrective lens in the viewfinder. Navipad works only for navigating through the menu, not a single function was assigned to it, but in vain it would be much more convenient with hot buttons. With the wheel, too, not everything is so simple, it was not fully involved. But if you were friends with soap dishes before, then there will be no problems, get used to it quickly, but this fact upset me a little. There is a programmable button. But not everything is as bad as I wrote here, these are most likely nitpicks and not shortcomings, in general, an entry-level photo tag, with a good matrix, a bunch of plots, scenes, and the ability to process photos directly in the device. Whale 18-55 is not even bad to start. Yes, he also has a video! And they say very decent, I haven’t tried it, for me it’s superfluous. Its biggest minus is its price, due to the flooding of a factory in Thailand, the price was raised to 30 thousand !! For such a price, I would never take it !!!, I would buy Pentax K-R! I got the D5100 KIT at a discount, at the price of the D3100.
