UPDATE: Spend $200 OR MORE ON A GOOD PAIR! The 2nd didn't work either. The volume could not be changed. My husband, a manly man, thought he could fix it and took it apart. I assumed that this would void the warranty and the right of return. I'm upset because we bought this item twice (as dummies) and both broke within a few months. At this point I could buy a really good $200 kit that most likely won't stop working. I bought them for my husband's birthday in early June 2020. He likes her except the mic hasn't worked since October. We bought another set. If you don't want to spend a few hundred or so, that's great. I hope they last longer the second time.
