Finally a bento box big enough for a man's lunch! Most of them are for foodies and those who really care about limiting their portions. That's the opposite of this reviewer and most men. It's sad when you run out of food when you're still hungry. This bento box will make a truly unfortunate event unlikely for most people. I would love to see a company like Thermos design and manufacture their own bento style lunch box. It will be made of high quality stainless steel and will be big enough to feed a hungry builder named Moose. But until then, you'll have to settle for this Grub 2 Go. No, Elk might not be enough, but most men should be. The quality of the plastic is sufficient for the intended use. It's thick and doesn't bend. It even withstands the bottom shelf of the dishwasher. Plastic dishes correspond to the price. The bamboo lid gives the packaging a nice aesthetic look. Containers are not sealed. Haven't come across fully sealed bento lunch boxes yet. Do not use for soups and marinara. It will flow. There are two ways to improve this product. Of course, the price will increase with these proposed improvements, but you get what you pay for. First the bag. I would make the bag bigger to fit two cans of your favorite beverage. I would use better quality and more durable material for the bag. The bag must be insulated. In other words, the bag should be much higher quality, bigger and more insulated. Second, the dishes must be stainless steel. Trying to cut meat with a plastic knife is a futile exercise. Third, increase the thickness of the plastic material used in containers. I know this will increase the purchase price to around $40. Which is more than fair for a bento lunch box that will last for many years. As it is currently being manufactured, this product will not last more than a few years. Plastic utensils wear out, especially the knife. The rubber band loses its strength and the bag tears. I'm willing to pay the extra cost to get a product that works better and lasts longer. Highly recommended. At this price you can't complain. The capacity is sufficient for most men.
