Does what it should

First I removed the alarm battery. Take away my tricycle. I really didn't need an alarm clock. The lock is well made. but there is a trick to turn it on and more importantly off with the key. once you get the hang of it, you'll be fine. with WD-40, otherwise it will be very difficult to work. This is the best lock I have found for securing your bike through the front disc brake.

Pros
  • Makes you happy
Cons
  • No automatic

Xena XX-14 - does what it's supposed to do - very loud alarm

To make my bike less attractive to thieves I decided to combine this with a paging alarm. It's very noisy and must be very very difficult for a thief to hit it, at least the wheel has to be removed from the bike (front or back depending on how I use it that day). If I use this in combination with my "U" lock, then most thieves will just move on to the next bike. His theft would have made too much noise and lasted too long.

  • Good product for the price

Good deterrent / could be a bit more sensitive.

I installed this alarm on my new motorcycle. It's quite noisy and good for deterring a novice/indecisive bike thief. The reality is that if someone really wants your bike, they'll bypass it because it's really just there to make noise and draw attention to the bike. I had a few times when he left for no reason. Also, it might be a bit more sensitive as another time I forgot to take it off the bike, started the bike, started rolling forward and then broke. But sometimes I just stumbled across it

This is the best lock I have found

This is the best lock I have found although it definitely takes some practice to get this lock right. I highly recommend playing with it during the day if you don't bother anyone with very loud alarm sounds! This is a great lock, I use it on my 2014 Kawasaki Ninja. It comes with 3 keys so you are sure to have it with you at all times. It's a super sensitive alarm, which is great, but be careful not to accidentally touch the bike when it's armed! There are a few "warning beeps" before it starts…

Heavy duty isn't strong enough to describe

Just arrived yesterday and I was expecting a much smaller and more delicate piece so I was surprised when I opened my email program and saw this monster. It is big. That is hard. Nobody cuts it off with anything but a blowtorch. Is it sensitive? Of course it is VERY delicate, but that's why I bought it. I put a cup of coffee on the table about a foot away from him and he exploded. I like it. So when you hear all the screaming complaints about this thing, just know they're only half right. Why…

Mainly powered by Anti-Theft

When I received the product it came without batteries and with a damaged cover. I called support and they offered to send me a battery that should arrive in a couple of weeks but I declined. Definitely if you get the full package: Pros: - The lock is quite strong and it seems it will take a lot of effort to break it. - The alarm is really loud and its sensitivity is ok. - It is easy to transport. Cons: - It rusts. light and wear out the rust on your disc brakes. - The alarm often won't turn on,

difficult conditions. - Anti-theft

This is an amazing little lock. And I use the term "a little" lightly. I got it before I raced the MotoGP race in Austin last year to increase bike safety. It's a good weight and securely attached. The alarm isn't too loud, maybe my battery is old because it was in the box before I got it, but I'm sure hearing it will deter thieves. Definitely better than my little kryptonite lock (which I now use on my rear drive). In fact it is very delicate, I put a cover on the bike and it worked. So if you

Fits Harley Ultra Limited 2015 and works great on the street.

Bought this unit for a long motorcycle ride (over 6000 miles total). Concerned about parking in front of hotel rooms on the street. The bottom line is this, if you want to sleep at night knowing that no one can fuck your bike if you don't know about it then buy this. I have used it several times on this trip and have never had a false positive. It's delicate, and it's quite difficult to insert the key and unlock it before the alarm goes off, but it gets easier after a few times (and if you set…

Random Alert

I don't normally write reviews but this disc lock is so annoying that I feel the need to warn potential buyers. Let me start with the good and then move on to the annoying and slightly annoying details. Pros: The disc lock looks good, is solidly built and gives me a secure bike feeling. I even had a former biker ask me what that was. After explaining it to him, he figured his bike wouldn't have been stolen if he had one of these. It's also quite noisy. While it's true that you can cover it up…
