This camera is advertised as having a 170° field of view, but it's actually around 60°. I measured this by reversing the car until the sign was at the edge of the monitor screen and then using a compass to measure the angle between the camera and the pole. I attached the camera to the top license plate screws and routed the cable up and into the trunk lid. I removed the interior trim from the trunk, pulled the wires down and connected the video and power cable to the camera wires and then wrapped them in electrical tape so they wouldn't come loose.
