I installed this alarm on my new motorcycle. It's quite noisy and good for deterring a novice/indecisive bike thief. The reality is that if someone really wants your bike, they'll bypass it because it's really just there to make noise and draw attention to the bike. I had a few times when he left for no reason. Also, it might be a bit more sensitive as another time I forgot to take it off the bike, started the bike, started rolling forward and then broke. But sometimes I just stumbled across it and disabled it. So I don't know if it's weather conditions or just usage over time, but it seems to have changed a little based on its performance.
