When I read bad reviews, I rub them into the count of good reviews. The straps detached from the bag before I even put it on the bike. Just seconds after unpacking and a quick strength test. They're not secured enough to withstand the abuse that trail riding can cause. This would be a great way to store something in the corner of your RV, but don't expect durability if you're really buying with intentions of putting it on your car. THAT WAS NOT SUCCESSFUL!
