I really like this dual setting heat gun. I've been looking for a heat gun that heats things up without blowing them all over the place and decided I'd have to settle for two different guns. I was pleasantly surprised by this wonderful weapon! One setting is good for embossing etc. The lower setting gets very hot but doesn't blow the items with strong air pressure. A higher setting is also ideal for embossing (especially with larger or larger embossing powders) and removing sticky materials, blowing out air bubbles, etc. Actions that require more power and more heat. I removed some sticky stuff with lower settings, but could increase temperature and power in stubborn areas. I liked being able to start my fragile (glass) project more accurately and only turn up the volume on the hard-to-remove parts. I went with my Darice heat gun because it seems to be a bit more powerful than even that gun's high setting, but this is my new favorite. This is one that takes up valuable space on my desk.
