This is a great ripper to use where precision is required e.g. B. when sewing with the same colored thread as the fabric. I knit something in black jersey and used black yarn, but it was difficult to tell sewing yarn from fabric. Using this seam ripper with a magnifying glass and light, I was able to see the sewing thread clearly. It took me a while to get used to holding it a certain way to combine magnifying glass and light with the seam ripper - but it doesn't take long to get the hang of it. I also like that the magnifying glass is frameless, so there's a little more viewing space.
