Back in the day when people built their houses from what they found outside, some madman built this place. The bathroom built into the annex of this house was designed by someone who was inspired by the evil Super Mario. So, the toilet has two bolts, and where one can be hand tightened, the other is like a tent pole they were trying to hit the oil with. The wax seal eventually gave way and I was afraid I would have to do it. You can't see the flange because the lunatic who lived here before us built the floor on top of it. I had to put in a new rubber seal with gasket and then put the toilet on top and hope everything worked out. Two attempts. Three good swear words. I'm amazed how it works! Water was dripping underground below, now it's stopped. I cannot praise this thing for its ease of installation and most importantly for its performance. But it is so. If it doesn't work out soon, I'll get back to you and let you know.
