Review on ๐Ÿท๏ธ PT-D202 Personal Label Maker - P-Touch Home by Mysocalled Gaultier

The letter "P " must mean DEFINITELY!

I got my first P-Touch computer about 15 years ago and loved it. The sad thing is I couldn't afford the cassettes for it. This is an immediate shortcoming. And of course I've long since forgotten where it is where. When I saw this I decided to buy it even though it's ALMOST double what I paid for my first one. with everything to use it right out of the box: ** machine (obviously) ** manual (always good to have and I keep it handy for fonts, symbols and frames) ** ribbon (pretty good idea, but ribbon is TRANSPARENT , so it may not be visible on some surfaces/objects)** BATTERIES! Yes, it comes with the required six (6) AAA batteries and it's definitely worth mentioning. There's nothing quite like buying a new "toy" and buying batteries for it [FYI: I used to USE A TON of batteries of each type but... never used half of them and they went to waste - not always good idea to keep "margined"] That's pretty HUGE for a labeller. Like I told my mom, it's like a mini car. But he is durable. It is easy to use, set up and enter. Installing the batteries took the most time just because of the "packaging" they came in. Ribbons are EASY to insert. I barely consulted the manual before making my first label - with my chosen font, symbol and frame. The labels are torn down the middle instead of peeling off the sides. Keyboard? The buttons are very easy to press and operate. They're also positioned at a comfortable angle, although I doubt anyone would spend LONG time typing. This is ideal for labeling baby items, your own items and organization. I definitely recommend one of these for every home. (of course, if finances allow, everything is clear). Very happy with it!
