Review on 16.1 Inch Portable Monitor with 1920X1080P Resolution, 60Hz Refresh Rate, HDMI, IPS Display by Peter Follansbee

I bought this monitor for $169.99 and I really don't think you can beat it. I travel a lot with my wife and we both work remotely and together and I had two other portable monitors. Both had a design with the ports coming out the sides, which was very annoying when you want to create a seamless monitor setup with minimal cable runout. Not only does this monitor have very thin bezels, but all the I/O ports are on a stand (with a very solid stand) so you can run cables from bottom to back like I did without it being ugly or obtrusive. . The design of the stand saves space inside the monitor and allows you to make it very thin. So thin that I'm afraid of accidentally breaking it in half, so I'm always very careful with it. It's like an iPad Air with a plastic case. So it can be good or bad depending on how you look at it. Another thing I really liked about this monitor is that it's about half an inch larger than your standard 15.6 setup, but not as big as your 17.3. I would choose 17.3 if I had a 17" laptop, but I have a 15" Legion Slim 7 so I wanted it to look cohesive. As far as I know, it was the only 16.1-inch portable monitor at the time of purchase. Aside from the matte silver frame, it fits very well if you can increase the height like I did with the laptop. a bit cumbersome to use and adjust settings. It's not as bad as some think. I was able to use it to color match my laptop monitor. On the other hand, the sound and speakers are not very good. I don't like this monitor, although the contrast is okay, the brightness isn't great for outdoor work, and I would have liked the black border option. No touchscreen, which is not what I expect at this price, and the ports are ok, as they allow you to connect anything with a cable as long as you have the right I / O on your computer. Coming back to the fragility, make sure that you buy a case for 0.16 inch macbook case will work fine. I would buy this monitor again if it was in a matte. Black border version for my laptop.
