Be very careful when purchasing these extension cords. While I'm grateful they initially worked for the first 4 months, just this week, during a gaming session on my computer, I smelled a burning odor and my screens turned off. I restarted my computer and the smell was gone for a moment but then the burning smell started again and this time my computer crashed completely. I turned off the computer and took it apart the next morning and noticed that the connection from the expansion and the 8 pin EPS GPU from the PSU was discolored. Further investigation revealed that both ends of the link were burned and could be worse. Luckily I'm not aware of any damage to my 2080ti, I won't know until I change the cables.
