An iPad went in very easily. The other 2 took forever

I bought 3 of these. An iPad went in very easily. The other two took forever to enter. I was afraid that I would break the iPad. As soon as I inserted them, I found that the volume down button was almost completely covered! I recommend you NOT to purchase this item. I am extremely disappointed.
