I have bought several of these sockets and installed them throughout the house. Pros: Very easy to set up, works well with the Alexa app, easy timers to set. Cons: Doesn't work with Alexa voice commands. To use them with Alexa, you need to go to the Alexa app and turn them on manually. If you try to ask Alexa to turn it on, you get the message "This device doesn't support voice commands". The description is a bit misleading. Yes, it works with Alexa, but only with the app. You can't tell Alexa to turn them off and on again. To be honest I would have sent them back if I hadn't spread them all over the house. I use the timer function on some of them but for others I have to go into the app.
