My child loves his "rubber boots" and wants to wear them all the time. He wore his first pair between the ages of 12 and 28 months and I went back to buy a few sizes up. I think they're amazingly durable because they're molded out of one big piece of plastic, and we get compliments almost every time we go to the playground because they're so adorable. He insisted on wearing them with warm socks all winter and succeeded, although they don't hold up very well on the ice. As mentioned in other reviews, I think the appeal is that these were the first shoes he could put on and take off himself.
