I was looking for sporty towels - small and thin towels and they fit just right. They are of reasonable quality and the size I was looking for. They are smaller (and thinner) than regular full-length bath towels. I wanted to take something to the gym and use it to dry my hair and hands regularly. As other people have pointed out, you're going to get a lot of fluff if you put it in the dryer. I washed and dried them twice before use and both times the lint trap was full of lint. But overall these are good towels for my purposes.
