The search for bar stools has been long and difficult. Even on Revain, it was like searching an endless jungle until I finally stumbled across this particular chair. What I like about the design of the chair: The height is pub height. I like that you come and sit a little high. I wanted the bar table feel when taking a break from cooking or sitting in the kitchen for a quick meal. It is comfortable and especially comfortable to stand on a chair. The chair is fully assembled. Of course it's nice that the work is already done. But it also means that the chair is very durable. I think if I put them together there would be more chances that the screws would not fit or come loose. I feel good that the expert on this chair model put everything together and sent me a durable piece of furniture. You have to step on the steps to get up and down from the chair, so the durability of the structure is important. The fabric is a beautiful gray color that matches our kitchen. The front step/step has a metal insert to protect the wood from kicks. rely on it. The chairs are big enough for my husband to sit comfortably. However, the seat is small enough that you don't spill anything on the chair when eating, as it is covered by the occupant. The cushioning is sufficient. The full back is very comfortable. The vortex does not rotate. It doesn't have much movement. It actually seems like it's just there to keep the chair's structure from weakening over time, giving way, which puts stress on the wood every time you roll over and get up from your chair. A slight twist allows the chair to rotate easily while you sit or dismount. What I did not like. Gently unscrew with a screwdriver to lay felt on the legs of the chair. We have a soft floor in the kitchen that cannot cope with the plastic chair rails. Luckily I was able to remove the pads without damaging the chair. Overall I am very happy with these chairs. They go well together in style, are very comfortable and affordable.
