Not as advertised best in my review

If you are expecting FR4 Fiberglass with 1oz copper foil, you aren't going to get it with this board. First it isn't FR4, but instead it is old school Phenolic. Then the copper is so thin on these boards the traces are really fragile. I have broken a few traces just from normal handling. I probably make 100 boards a year using my CNC, so I do know a bit about what I'm talking about. I would have sent these back, but unfortunately I couldn't wait for replacements, so I used them.

  • Copper can be a difficult material to work with for novice DIYers

Works pretty well-read results

I made some small boards using thermal toner transfer and noticed when cleaning the surface with a ScotchBrite pad, that it is not glass-flat. They were very clean when they arrived and had no scratches But there is some slight texture to the surface that you see when first start cleaning. After scrubbing in all directions it seemed fine. I got pretty good adhesion and etching with a mix of line widths down to .020/.015” lines and spaces. I always make more than I need and about 70% of the…

These are not fiberglass. They are poor quality bakelite.

This says it is fiberglass. But if you read down to the smaller text it says it's bakelite. If you want fiberglass DON'T buy these.

Good price, good buy

Copper in good condition, also great price! Planning to use these for custom circuit printing tests, may update review with info when finished

So far they look nice

So far they look nice. The problem is the CNC. The collet is not holding the bit so a can't route them yet. They are ok, but I don’t believe that they are 1oz per square foot.

Product is not FR-4 material

Product is, .6 mil(.0006 thousands) on an phenolic substrate, far from being the quality of FR-4 which is a glass epoxy substrate with a copper thickness of .00134 thousands.

Pros
  • These work perfectly for printing your own circuit boards. The film adhered better than expected.
Cons
  • The boards may be difficult to cut to size for specific project needs
