I bought it because of the convenience of magnetic charging and because I can move it freely without damaging the charging port on the phone. It connects quickly, but charging isn't very good. At 10% battery level on my Samsung Note 20 Ultra it would take 10.5 hours to charge (my phone shows the time to full charge). So even after a good night's sleep I'm still waiting for it to recharge. My charge plate would last just under 5 hours, and just over 3.5 hours with my aftermarket lightning cable. Bottom line, the magnetic connection gives me more freedom of movement, but that's about it. Not an absolute deal breaker, but I'll look for something faster in the future.
