I purchased this item because my Brother printer keeps telling me that the optical photoconductor has reached the end of its life. Aggravating. Maybe it's just my printer or my inability to figure it out, but if you purchase this item to remove this message, be aware that it may not work. Update, I increased my star rating not because the product works in my particular printer (it might work in yours) but because of the above average customer service Chloe provided when trying to fix it with replacement options or a refund. Bravo for this effort!
