I had another Qi receiver for my iPhone 6s Plus. It worked well enough for about a year and suddenly stopped working. I bought this one to replace and it's not as finicky as my other one to connect. You plug it in and stick it on the back of your phone with a small sticker. I put my Otterbox (Symmetry) case back on and it charges perfectly through the case with all my 5 Qi chargers. I would buy it again. Update: I bought it again. I made sure it was the same and bought one for a gift. Both work perfectly. The trick is to make sure the spiral part stays on the back of the phone. If the small sticker doesn't stick, just attach the gold piece to the corner of the phone with a small piece of tape. The instructions state that you cannot remove the item after installation. If you need to remove it, insert a credit card under the spiral section to loosen the tape. You don't want to bend the coil.
