This is an imperfect solution for devices without native wireless charging support. You have to place part of the coil right in the middle to work and even when it works I've found that it doesn't charge very quickly and gets quite hot. The coil also adds to the thickness of your device and causes the case to bulge. Also, you use the Lightning connector for this, so you can no longer plug in your EarPods. However, it works. I had another Qi receiver for my iPhone 6s Plus. It worked well enough for about a year and suddenly stopped working. I bought this one to replace and it's not as finicky as my other one to connect. You plug it in and stick it on the back of your phone with a small sticker. I put my Otterbox (Symmetry) case back on and it charges perfectly through the case with all my 5 Qi chargers.
