Works well but if you add a metal plate for the magnetic mount you have to be careful where you place the plate, some spots will block the signal, others will cause heating (MUCH!) I've found , that the best place to charge and heat is high above the apple logo, the big round hole with the apple logo. For those of you who are curious, I have an Otter commuter phone and it has worked really well without a plate. I had a similar charger on my Samsung s5 with an Otter Box protective case (no metal plate) and finding a middle ground that would allow charging was very difficult.
