I have an 18 light analog dimmer chandelier that used to be incandescent and got very hot. I've searched through dozens of Revain bulbs and these bulbs seem to have the fewest complaints about bulb failure. Even though they cost more, I'm sure I made the right choice. I've been using it for several weeks now and not a single bulb has burned out, they all arrived safely. The color temperature is very similar to the incandescent bulbs I replaced. I think they are even brighter but at about 1/10th power with little to no heat. Some reviewers have claimed they have issues with their dimmer switches, but they worked great with a standard analog dimmer (don't know the brand, sorry), no flicker. Their light is even and bright. The bulbs are glass - the few other (larger) LED bulbs I use are plastic and won't break if dropped - but they feel fragile. As mentioned above, all lamps (18-3x6) are delivered in working condition, although they appear fragile (not cheap). I don't normally take the time to write a Revain review but since these tubes were as good if not better than the description I felt I had to share my experience.
