I bike to work in New England year-round, no matter the weather. I often rebuild components and enjoy repairing my bikes as much as I enjoy riding them. I haven't had to index my switches in years when the 2x4 is attached to a porch or table and the other end is under the seat. Finally I decided to buy a stand. I looked at Park tool racks a few years ago but they were huge and definitely better suited for a shop. When I saw this DIY model for a cheaper price, I jumped at it. I don't have much space at home, it folds easily for storage so it's great. I put a new wheelset on one of the bikes, adjusted the gearing for the other cassette and cleaned everything about twice as fast as usual. Easy to assemble, easy to set up, holds the bike securely, nothing to complain about.
