I like the braided cable here but I doubt the strength of the adapter. I dented the cable with my thumbnail and it looked like it was going to break! I was expecting the material to show some elasticity and regain its shape, but after 24 hours the crease still seems permanent (see attached image). The chance of it snagging on something in my pocket and breaking is too big for me to miss. If that line were to snap, I wouldn't want to keep track of the torn piece. I've since bought a SwivelCord (also pictured) and it seems to be much more durable. There are many things to ignore when thinking about travel, putting the cord in a bag with other items, etc. I will be returning and keeping the SwivelCord.
