So my cats often complain about the door when we are outside and they can see us working in the garden. How wonderful to be able to take them outside! So we decided to try one of them to see if it would be acceptable. Charging was easy enough (we have a stocky tortoise shell and a sleek orange tabby). Both fit in, although the folded version was a bit tight for a stocky girl. Both liked the fact that the backrest could be folded down and you could sit in the mesh area. It's not big enough for them to stand in, but they could stand enough to turn around and look out the clear window. Now one of them knows to come over and push the bag and we put him in so he can go outside for a while. The construction feels solid enough, the zippers feel secure, and it works. I wouldn't use it for an airline as I feel it's too small for that and may not meet the airline's requirements, so I urge buyers to do their due diligence on this. Otherwise, it's a pretty decent backpack for pets.
