I thought it was a great deal until I found out it's not RGB. That's exactly what you see in the product description - properly lit red LEDs. If that's what you're looking for, or you're looking for the cheapest panel you can find, or if you want something really easy to program, then this is your panel. No dead LEDs and runs cool. While it's only running from the Arduino, it's pretty dim, so I wouldn't stress this little board on a regular basis. When powered by a separate power supply it glows quite brightly. All downloads come with 8 different programming examples to give you something to work with. There are 4 brass inserts on the back for attaching an M4 screw, but the threads appear to be a bit loose. If you look at my pictures you can see that the board really needs a diffuser to improve readability. I used a very difficult matte plastic bag, but I'm sure a bit of sandpaper works properly on thin foils. Add 2 or 3 of these to make a fairly large array, either as a rectangle or solid, which would be a pretty impressive display at an amazing price.
