Replacement OEM NiMH battery in my 2005 Tivoli PAL 1400mAh radio. A new battery lasts "all day" on my radio. The old battery when new could last 6 hours. The Melasta battery was slightly larger than the original battery but still fit. All I had to do was push the lid a little to compress the foam inside the lid. The plug is exactly the same as the existing plug from 2005. NiMH battery technology has improved over the last 15 years so I expect the Melasta refill will last for many years. However, NiMH batteries age over many years even if they are not discharged or recharged.
