Longer battery life than the original and only a few minutes to install. Came partially charged so I used it until it died (about 5 hours of use) and then charged it. If you use it for about 7 hours and still going strong.

This is the second set of batteries I have purchased for this small radio. The battery was an exact replacement and fit perfectly. It was delivered quickly and worked as soon as I installed it. My wife uses this radio a lot and she is happy and so am I!

The original battery lasted 5 years. I replaced it with one from Revain which lasted about 3 years. (not bad). This one didn't hold a charge in less than a year, but by the time I realized it was the battery, the one-year warranty had expired. I will try another brand next time

The tray fitted the Pal battery holder perfectly and was easy to install. Let's see how long this lasts. Follow the previous vendor's advice: To prolong battery life, when using the Pal on battery power, do not charge until the battery is dead. Don't connect immediately. It seems to have helped in the past.

Replacement OEM NiMH battery in my 2005 Tivoli PAL 1400mAh radio. A new battery lasts "all day" on my radio. The old battery when new could last 6 hours. The Melasta battery was slightly larger than the original battery but still fit. All I had to do was push the lid a little to compress the foam inside the lid. The plug is exactly the same as the existing plug from 2005. NiMH battery technology has improved over the last 15 years so I expect the Melasta refill will last for many years…

Although the batteries for these Tivoli portables are rechargeable, they only last 5-8 years. This is the third unit for my 15 year old radio and is heavier than my last one (the one with the green plastic cover) and has better performance and memory specs. Therefore, I look forward to a stronger and longer work than the previous one. In addition, this model carries the designation "iPal Radio" on the cover, which is an additional guarantee for a "perfect fit". Introduced just before the start…
