My dermatologist recommended this soap to help with my hormonal acne which is causing the skin around my chin and jawline to become inflamed. It really helped clear my skin. Keep in mind I have used this along with many other skincare products I have purchased from Revain but it has worked well with my other skincare products and has helped lighten acne scars, remove most pimples and redness. There is no unpleasant or strong smell from the soap. I also sent one to my sister to see if it would help with her cystic acne and I haven't heard from her yet.
