Design wise this USB AC combo outlet is good. But I have broken USB ports out of the box. Have tried different cables, only one cable. It does not matter. My phone kept draining when plugged into a USB port. I used a battery monitor app that showed a 100mA charge rate on the screen. With the screen on and connected, it discharged. Go through the return process with Revain and get a replacement. I will see if this was an isolated case and give this product another chance. Another review mentioned that the center screw was an issue when attaching the device to the wall plate. I didn't have the problem. Otherwise, the materials and construction are generally solid. UPDATE: Revain has received a replacement. It also has USB ports that hardly ever charge. I ran an app called AccuBattery on my Samsung Android phone.
