To be honest it's really an odd size for the full size products claimed. I got it to store my toiletries and hair items as I had recently tousled my hair and needed a lot more space for my hair products. This bag is oddly too short to hold some brands of full size shampoos so I had to buy new containers to fit and close. It's also not high enough to fit a regular-sized comb or hairbrush in the compartments, so you have to tilt it in the middle, which is annoying. As for the side pockets, the pocket that's best used for toiletries doesn't fit a full-size tube of toothpaste in the elastic straps, so you can't use the straps for anything other than a toothbrush. It's also not wide or high enough to fit things like my braces and mouthguard in the cases. The waterproof front pocket I think is a good size and fits my rectangular loofah and collapsible bowl that I use to soak my retainers in denture cleaner and I honestly thought it wouldn't fit at all. The side pocket for cosmetics is very small. So unless you just need a couple of brushes and two products, it's not for makeup. So I used this side to store my silk hair bands, but I wish it was big enough to fit more than a few capes, because now I can't put my headbands and hair ties anywhere but in the middle, which is a bit is messy. I think I'll keep it because I like the design and I can work around its flaws, but if I had known beforehand how little it might fit I would have bought something else.
