I am chronically ill and have been suffering from pain for many years. I first thought about buying this pillow 5 years ago. I hesitated because of the cost. I was hoping this pillow would help me sleep more than a few hours and wake up with less pain. I can sleep maybe an hour longer and my morning pain level will drop by about 50-75%. I am very satisfied with this product. Some people have complained about the chemical smell. I am sensitive to smells. This pillow had a slight odor but it dissipated within a few hours and I never had a headache, breathing problem or sinus pain because of it. Some people have complained that the pillow is too hard. It's subjective, but for me the pillow has the perfect firmness to not crack the corners it's trying to reach, while still not creating any pressure points on me. Some people have complained that the pillow is too long or too short. Again, this is subjective. I like it when my feet hang over the edge because of the pain in my heels. At 5ft 4in I find the length almost perfect. Both of my sections don't have a zipper, so I move the sections as close together as possible. Tall people can easily push them further apart and put a pillow under their knees. My suggestion is to cover the whole thing with a double sheet for easier washing (and to match my color scheme) since I'm not able to fight zipper covers (although I appreciate having them). Final thought, I love this pillow and feel like it has improved my quality of life.
