Premium 28 Inch Foam Bed Wedge System by Contour Products for Optimal Back Support Review

I wanted this so badly and was happy to try it. It's as hard as stone and as comfortable as stone. If you like hard beds you might like this system, but if you're looking for a comfy soft system this isn't it. I was so disappointed and in so much more pain after trying this system. I shouldn't even call it a "system", it's just a multi-position rock. If you can, save your money for something better - it's NOT pain relief, it's the cause of the pain.

I bought this because I had fusion surgery and it was recommended by my doctor. My surgery has since been delayed but I still find it helpful for back pain. I love that I can use all the pieces in different positions and just use the top wedge to watch TV. My only complaint is that the material picks up all the lint and pet hair. This is a great product for those of us who need a bed to travel with or use because we can't afford a hospital bed or recliner bed. This is my 3rd Contour Backmax Plus (I lost one along the way and gave one to my son) but I have to say that while Contour Living is worth buying, I KNOW you downgraded the pillows (it's not firm, firmness is needed as the bed will soften on its own over time) and you stop making travel duvets. Lying on the back was very uncomfortable after spinal fusion and side is not good either. So for the past 7 months I've mostly slept in a chair. PROBLEM SOLVED! Behind Max lies on my bed and is very comfortable! I use the whole pillow as it came in the box. It's pretty soft but very supportive. It was a bit difficult to get into the pillows the first few times, but now I get it. The only way to improve this is to develop zippered pillowcases. This is without a doubt the best purchase I have made since I had serious back and shoulder problems ten years ago. Until I bought it last month (September 2020), I hadn't slept in bed in a number of years due to post-op adjustment (at best) or excruciating pain (worst).
