LORAC Unzipped or Urban Decay Naked 3?

The Lorac Unzipped palette shares the same rose gold colorway as the Urban Decay Naked 3 palette, so I'm framing this review as a comparison of the two palettes. Finally, many of you may be wondering how to compare two palettes. I have a little makeup problem, I'll admit it. So I have both Naked 3 and Unzipped. I first bought Naked 3 but I was still tempted by this palette after seeing it in action on various YouTube channels. Palette Lorac Unzipped contains 10 high-quality oily eyeshadows: Undercover - Pink-Cream. This is a great vibrant shade similar to Strange from Naked 3. Incredible is a shimmery rose gold shade. Can be applied very smoothly. Unattackable is a shimmering bronze pink gold shade. Unconditional is a matte purple-purple (a cross between Nooner and Limit from Naked 3). Unbridled - matte brown with hints of purple. shimmering gold. Unreal - shimmery pink. This is the sister of "Dust" from the Naked 3 range, but much more articulated and less shiny. Uncensored - Bronze shimmer. Unspoken is a burgundy brown matte shade. of two palettes: LORAC Unzipped contains 10 shadows and Naked 3 has 12. Each palette of Naked 3 is full size. These shadows also appear to be full sized - they are much larger than the shadows in the Lorac Pro palette. This palette costs $40 compared to $52 for Naked 3. For the additional $12, you get a brush with Naked 3 and 2 more shadows. But the brush is not very good. I do not use it. This palette comes with an eyeshadow primer (a good sized swatch which is great for travel compared to the mini swatches from Naked 3 - plus the Lorac Behind the Scenes primer is better than the Urban Decay primer in my opinion Potion) – Naked 3 has 3 matte shades, this palette has 4 matte shades. Naked 3 is available in 3 brilliant shades: Dust, Buzz and Trick. Trick and Dust is difficult to handle. I find they work best with my Elf Set Spray and Mist (fake Mac Fix+). The Naked 3's packaging feels more solid. Naked 3 is packed in a metal case. This one is cardboard. - The Lorac Unzipped palette doesn't have the super deep shade that Blackheart has. - There are a few more shades of yellow in Naked 3 (like Mugshot and Liar). Overall I find Naked 3 cooler and Lorac Unzipped warmer. Overall I think these palettes are so different that you can have both. However, the color families are similar. I love both palettes, but the eyeshadows in Lorac Unzipped are better. In general, the shadow area is easier to work with and there is much less clipping. Lorac Unzipped literally has NO COLORS while Naked 3 has a shade I can't use without wetting the MAC Fix+ brush. Every single shade in the unpacked palette is wonderful to apply and blend beautifully. If I had to pick one it would be Lorac Unzipped, but I love both. If you have to decide on one: - If you don't like glitter: choose Lorac Unzipped - If you have a cooler tone: Naked 3 might be the best option - If you prefer a smokier look: Naked 3 is better because of Blackheart and Darkside , both of which are colors that are deeper than the deepest shades in Lorac Unzipped. - If you prefer matte shades, Lorac Unzipped has an advantage with 4 matte shades versus 3 matte. - If you prefer more purple tones, I think Naked 3 has an advantage: - If you prefer more brown tones, Lorac Unzipped is also a bit more brown with burgundy.
