💡 GE Halogen Light Bulbs: T3, 100W, 1500lm, R7S Base - Clear, 1-Pack Torchiere Bulbs Review

These bulbs are very bright. We have a very large living room and no lamp. I know it's silly, but we rent, so that's how it is. I bought a cheap 190W halogen bulb. It was ok but the room looked very dark. These pears are amazing. The room was instantly transformed; One bulb fully illuminated a very large living room (estimated to be 20 feet by 40 feet or more) with very high ceilings. Have bought them in the past and will definitely buy them again in the future.

This product must be fake as I know GE doesn't make cheap low quality products. When the bulbs arrived I immediately noticed that they were not of high quality. The wires were poorly attached to the bulb and some of the polymer used to attach the wires was smeared onto the glass. I hoped the poor appearance wasn't a real indicator of the bulb's quality, but after a few months the bulb blew out and burned the outlet I plugged it into. GE product.

Heed the heat warning. I also don't know if it emits ultraviolet. But this is a great replacement for an incandescent lamp. A few years ago I bought a dozen T3 lightbulbs from a generic brand for a fraction of the price I paid for them. The cheap ones I bought burned out in just a few hours. Since I had two headlights, one using the same bulb for years and the other changing bulbs every few hours, I figured the problem was with a light source. My flashlight has burned out and I have been trying to replace it. I measured it accurately and the bulb I had was almost 4 3/4 inches. I adjusted it to the closest size I could find on Amazon and bought three bulbs. Unfortunately I have no idea where the dimensions on the page came from because the bulb itself was just over 3 inches tall. although the page says 4+. So I go to the store where I can SEE what I'm buying and know in advance if it fits or not.

Replaced the bulb in a table lamp. I've had the table lamp for over a decade (it still worked great with the original lamp back then). I have just installed one of these lamps and would like to send information. First, the Revain publication correctly states that this lamp is made in China. However, the manufacturer information at the bottom of the page states that the lamp was made in Hungary. This is no longer the case, although they used to be made in Hungary, as the expired bulb I took from my desk lamp, also a GE T-3 100W, was made in Hungary. I'm having trouble fitting a lightbulb into my double spring table lamp holder.
