Let There Be Light good for me

I painstakingly searched for adequate LED replacements for the fluorescent tubes in by garage. I have the capability of bypassing the ballast, but anytime I can avoid overhead work, I take it. These Luxrite tubes were a bit pricier than some other brands, but the ability to keep the ballast wired in and the option to change color temperatures really makes the price worth it. These were easy enough to install in an old ballast fixture, and are fast to come on with very bright light. That's my feedback.

Did not work as direct replacements

I got these because they were advertised as working either in a ballast bypass scenario or as a direct replacement leaving the ballast in place.I have two remaining fluorescent fixtures in my barn (all the rest have been replaced with dedicated LED fixtures). Both are functional with fluorescent bulbs, but when I swapped these in they didn't power on at all. I've tried different orientations and multiple different bulbs - no luck at all.I assume if I bypass the ballasts then these will work…

WARNING FIRE HAZARD! Read this!

We installed these in 4 separate fixtures that use LED bulbs and worked fine and were compatible. All four literally burned/melted immediately. If you install these, DO NOT WALK AWAY. Watch them to make sure they do not melt and catch fire. Other brand bulbs worked fine.

These are very bright. They did blow the existing ballast but the ballast was old. Once I replaced it, they worked great.

easy installation good for me

Needed replacement fluorescent tubes. Decided to change to LED. Intimidated by description information regarding ballast bypass. Found Luxrite replacement tubes. All I had to do was remove and replace. Brightness adjustment with pressure button made tubes user friendly. As a matter of choice, maybe the button would be relocated to the bottom of the tubes.Happy with my choice.

Worked for me even though I had no idea what was wrong with my kitchen light.

My kitchen light blinked on and died. Flipped switch, blinked for second dead after that.Purchased a new ballast at the hardware store. Spent an 45 minutes installing, no flicker no light.Purchased these bulbs because they stated they worked with ballast and ballast bypass.Did not work with the ballast. (Yes, I did the wiring correct). Spent 10 minutes and did the ballast bypass.Let there be light. I do like the fact that there are three color temperatures as I decided on the lowest, daylight…

Great LED Replacements

Used these to replace the T8 bulbs in my kitchen. No wiring changes needed as they works as a direct replacement for me. Was able to adjust the temp of the light with the easy to use switch. Got the 2' and 3' lengths to try out in other fixtures around my apartment.

Love idea of LED tubes

I wanted to get rid of fluorescent tubes for brighter LED plus want color choices and dimmable. These are very good at resolving my needs. As a bonus use Alexa with smart switch. I really don’t notice too much change when I dim them which could be due to my switch or just nature of product. I would have liked to buy just two tubes but sold as set of four. I will probably never have occasion to use other two.

Kitchen overhead light

I rewired my 4 lamp F40T12/CW fluorescent kitchen overhead light fixture and installed these LED lamps.You would not believe what a difference it made. My kitchen is nice and bright and the they come on instantly. You also have three different adjustments for the Kelvins. If you don't like the color you can adjust the color on the switch on the end of each tube. They are great!

Ballast compatible in my review

Works as advertised with existing ballast - just switched out the Fluorescent tubes - and these started working as advertised! Higher lumens than the regular Fluorescent tubes - so that's an added benefit. Installed them just today - can't comment on longevity etc.
