I don't understand why nobody makes 12V LED light strings, but as of 2020, you have no choice to make your own. These bulbs are almost perfect for that role.I am using them for a camper/off-grid application, where I've always wanted a string of "bistro" style lights to hang over my camp area. The idea is to have numerous dim light bulbs that cast warm light in all directions and establish a pleasant atmosphere, as opposed to having harsh floodlights that cast shadows and ruin my night vision…

These bulbs, as advertised, were just what I needed. Ambient lighting, warm color and would last a long time. Two out of three in this case just didn't cut it. The bulbs were dead within 2 weeks. Don't bother unless you don't plan to use them often or just like changing bulbs frequently. Would have been a waste of money, but, they are going back to Best Buy.

I used these bulbs in diy pendant lights for a small off-grid cabin. They worked well and provided adequate light for the price. Appearance on and off is excellent and the glass jacket itself is so small the bulbs are compatible with about any kind of shade you could think of. No idea on longevity, led's will often fade in output long before they fail however. Bulbs are running on 12v dc.

Bright enough, and the color temperature is good, but I've had all 5 bulbs I tried die within 2-3 days of continuous use. Save energy.

these led bulbs use standard sockets, allowing easy conversion to 12 volt systems, light equivalent to a 10 watt 120 volt incandescent.

Love the ambience:) Similar color tone to my salt lamps. Used to replace bright obtrusive vanity over mirror globe bulbs. You cannot use for makeup lights, but I use makeup mirror anyway. Relaxingly soothing at night after long day.

Bought an inexpensive 120v party light string, installed these 1w bulbs, then wired it into my 12v inverter. That's my feedback!

These work well at 10VDC as well, and have a nice warm color. I've found other LED bulbs this size to be very unreliable; but these are working well so far! Good light output, and have a very similar-to-incandescent look to them.

i hung a chandelier from a tree in the backyard. Connected it to a 12 LED driver so that it comes on with the garage lights. I have a detached garage and it's nice to gentle light walking to the house (as opposed to flood lights). Also the chandelier is over my patio table to add a "room" feel to the patio with killing anyone with high voltage.

I knew they would be dim at this lumen rating, but it's basically too dim for use in a lamp you need to read with even close by.

These bulbs give off a beautiful warm amber for use when you only want a very low light.Very low voltage and energy efficient.

I was looking for a bulb that would provide some aesthetic light as I rewire my existing fixtures for the 12V landscape transformer. These work well, only take 1W, and look nice.

I thought I'd finally found the perfect bulbs for my daughter's bedside night light. These are advertised as night light bulbs, and their brightness is perfect for that purpose. However, each bulb has lasted less than a week. Which makes these ridiculous, wasteful and cheap.

Great product. Great option for small fixtures. Only thing to keep in mind is that they are a little dim. If you’re looking to illuminate an area these may not be best choice BUT if you’re looking for great mood lighting or accent lighting these are perfect.
