The correct product fits Fluorescent lamps

Unfortunately one of the two lamps I ordered and received did not work. It's too much trouble to try to come back, so I'm only dealing with one light source in the fixture.

Pros
  • Enjoyable
Cons
  • Speed

The lamps sent have a G24Q-3 base, not a G24Q-2 base, like Described on the product page, so I'm giving it one star. I trimmed the protrusions at the base and the bulb works fine (so far). I like warm whites and lumens; Durability, time will tell.

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Unusable features

Light but yellowish

This bulb is bright but soft yellow. Since my other two lightbulbs in the kitchen are also warm, this works fine. I hope this lasts as it is a Phillips and comes in the original packaging.

Pros
  • Absolutely gorgeous!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Nice design and color

These 2700K are great for the CFLs I already have, but I prefer this style of CFL, with four tubes that run almost flush with the height of my lenses to allow for a better fit the light spreads out more evenly than the shorter six-tube CFLs that I'm slowly but surely replacing. This means they show a little more when the lights are off, but everything disappears when the lights are on.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Not sure

Lightbulb doesn't work

I need to buy it for a lamp in my house. They are difficult to find and expensive. I bought this and plugged it into a light fixture and the light went on for about 2 seconds, then turned off and stopped working immediately. It is not possible to return the bulb as it was purchased more than a month ago. Beware. I won't buy stuff like this online anymore if I can't return them if they're defective.

Pros
  • Wow
Cons
  • boring packaging
