As folks have said there are very strong and very difficult to separate - but that fine - you should expect that. On my AC power strips I have place 2 (sometime up to 4 on large ones) of these - using epoxy glue. Seems to work very well so far. hint: if you use epoxy use a small piece of tape to hold the magnet on during the initial drying - tends to move otherwise. I stay outside 90% of the time working in the garden, riding my horse, etc.after Hurricane Matthew, the mosquitoes were like 100 times worse than I have ever seen them.
