Great product, great price.

Heed the heat warning. I also don't know if it emits ultraviolet. But this is a great replacement for an incandescent lamp. This lamp replaces a cheap floor lamp that has been (well maintained, recommended) next to my bed for three decades. This is the first replacement lamp I have ever bought. I wiped it down with an alcohol wipe after installation and hope it will last as long as its predecessor. Performance is about half that of its predecessor, so I bought a set of five 300-watt spares for about the same money. I don't know if I'll make the switch, but I think my lamp set will outlive me.
